Achievements/Tasks

I lead a cross-functional product team, comprising backend and frontend engineers, quality and business analysts, UX strategists, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters, responsible for delivering ALSAC's Constituent Identity and Access Management (IAM) solution using OKTA.

I spearheaded the AEM upgrade initiative, guiding multiple product teams through the process of upgrading their local AEM instances from version 6.5 SP12 to 6.5 SP22, ensuring a seamless transition with minimal impact on operations and getting ready to move to AEM cloud.

I spearhead initiatives to manage user cookies, consent, and preferences using One Trust Consent and Preference Management solution.

I'm currently leading the charge to adopt GitHub Co-pilot across our development team, promoting its benefits to colleagues including developers, QA analysts, and business analysts, with the goal of making it a widely used tool.

  • Leveraging OKTA Auth JS SDK, OAuth 2.0, SAML and OIDC created a self-hosted hosted login solution and on-boarded 2 different applications so far of the planned 14 applications.
  • Managing and leading DEV, QA and PROD environment OKTA tenets and their configurations via Terraform which include but not limited to configuring email template customizations, application and group creations, group assignments, profile enrollments, authenticator, and their respective policy creation, configuring global session policies, identity providers and routing rules, API integrations and creating OKTA workflows.
  • Developed solution for OIDC routing in between different applications during login and authentication process and accessing protected resources, Session and Token Management and managing user profile data.
  • Developed solution for synchronizing passwords from OKTA's provisioning agent to downstream applications that do not support SCIM.
  • Enabled bi-directional sync between OKTA and MDM
  • Lead UI developer on AEM, Adobe Target and Adobe Launch.
  • Led performance optimization efforts to improve the overall health of our applications.
  • Participated in the CI/CD and DevOps automation initiatives to build, test, deploy & operate on industry leading platforms & tools including AWS Cloud, Azure, Docker, GitHub, Jenkins, etc.
  • Managed CDN and web server configurations on sub-sites to enable CSP headers and x frame options.
  • Leveraging ScienceLogic and LogRhythm alerts, monitored application performance and alerted the team of any potential issues
  • Co-developed and maintaining a custom SASS rich design system that most of the applications at St. Jude currently leverage.
  • Organized and lead workshops with UI developers organizationally and helped standardize code standards, code review process and roadmaps.
  • Won an organization wide IT hackathon in which around 150 teams (of at least 3 members each) competed.

Web Application Developer / Programmer Analyst

Infomerica Inc.

Achievements/Tasks

At Infomerica, I was an integral part of the core development team - the Software Development and Systems Integration and worked for multiple clients on various projects in a quick paced environment.

I led multiple large-scale development projects to production and led efforts to integrate new Front-End technologies (like, JavaScript Testing Frameworks, Preprocessing and Build tools) into development workflow as well as advocated for rapid prototyping and iterative design process.

I created components and templates for Adobe Experience Manager (CMS) and highly taken data-driven decisions to optimize web content and performance.

  • Developed many JavaScript rich components following ES5 & ES6 coding standards and 508 compliance while using best practices in development.
  • Incorporated third-party APIs into the web application for data exchange and real-time updates.
  • Migrated some legacy SPA's to ReactJS using many of the React Hooks, libraries and services.
  • Worked with UX designers to integrate the color palette, SVG icons and custom fonts (EOT, OTF, TTF, WOFF, WOFF2, SVG) into design system and migrated applications to be on brand.
  • Interviewed and on-boarded several UI developers and created several on- boarding resources on confluence.
  • Code reviewing peers’ code and lead teams to bring together design, QA and development.
  • Led efforts to integrate new Front-End technologies (e.g., JavaScript Frameworks, GIT Version Control, Preprocessing tools) into development workflow as well as advocated for rapid prototyping and iterative design process.
